The Clallam County Department of Community Development is hosting a community forum on the proposed Carlsborg Urban Growth Area public sewer system Aug. 7.

County Commissioner Jim McEntire, community development Director Sheila Roark Miller, county staff and representatives from the Clallam County Public Utility District as well as the City of Sequim will be on hand to answer community questions. They also will  share information about the status of the sewer project, intergovernmental cooperation efforts, next steps and opportunities for community input.

The forum will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Sequim Transit Center, 190 W. Cedar Street. For more information, contact Carol Creasey, Clallam County Department of Community Development, at 417-2423.
