Starting, Monday, Oct. 1, the City of Sequim, with contractor Lakeside Industries, will repair select areas of pavement with new layers on Rhodefer Road, Oakwood Drive and West Sequim Bay Road between Rhodefer Road and Washington Harbor Road. Crews plan to repair asphalt on North Seventh Avenue, too.
A chip-seal surface will be placed on West Sequim Bay Road and Rhodefer Road in spring 2013 due to the weather and temperature.
Construction operates 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and is slated for completion by or before Nov. 2.
Drivers should anticipate some traffic control in these areas but delays are not anticipated.
The city's Transportation Benefit District paid for the projects.
