City seeks helmet donations for skate park

The City of Sequim is looking for donations to support the helmet program at the skate board park at Carrie Blake Park, 202 Blake Ave.
The city encourages all users of the skate board park to wear helmets and maintains a helmet cupboard that allows skaters to borrow a helmet if they don’t have one of their own. In order to keep the cupboard supplied with helmets for use, the city welcomes the donation of used helmets.
Interested sponsors also can donate money for the purchase of helmets.
