The Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., hosts a program, Small Business Foundational Footwork, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.
Presenters are Chuck Lamb and Mark Hannah, educators with SCORE, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping small businesses launch successfully. The program offers tools and resources on everything from assessing a business idea — including customers, competition, location and financing — to the brass tacks of legal business structure, necessary licenses, getting insurance, preparing for county, state and federal tax payments, and strategic marketing plans.
This class is free and pre-registration is not required. For more information, go to www.nols.org and click on “Events” or contact Sequim Library manager Lauren Dahlgren at 683-1161 or Sequim@nols.org.
