Lambert L. 'Bal' Balducci
A memorial service for Port Angeles resident Lambert L. "Bal" Balducci will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 510 E. Park Ave., Port Angeles. Mr. Balducci died Oct. 25, 2008, at the age of 79.
He was born Jan. 13, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo., to Albert L. and Marie Clervi Balducci.

Robert Clifford Arvidson
No service was reported for Sequim resident Robert Clifford Arvidson, who died Oct. 19, 2008, at the age of 84.
He was born April 3, 1924, in Forrest to Clyde and Rachel Mary Dunlap Pate.
His mother later married John Arvidson, who became his stepfather.
A retired truck driver, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 during World War II. He married Helen Warren on Feb. 24, 1947, in Elko, Nev.
He is survived by his sons Leif Arvidson of Tijeras, N.M.; Robert Arvidson of Pollock Pines, Calif.; and John Arvidson of Ventura, Calif.; daughter Nancy Mattarano of Camarillo, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Clarence Dewey Smith
At his request, no service has been planned for Clarence Dewey Smith, who died Oct. 18, 2008, at the age of 88.
He was born May 1, 1920, in Seattle to Clarence D. and Ruth H. Barnecut Smith. He graduated from Kent High School. He married Lillian Elvira Saxton on Dec. 1, 1941, in Anchorage, Alaska. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2000.
From 1942-1946, he served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He was a self-employed carpenter most of his life in Anchorage, Kent and Sequim. He was very active politically, loved to give and was a gentle spirit who loved to dance. He was a member of the John Birch Society, GOP of Clallam County and Peninsula Cloggers.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law Larry Smith of Anchorage; Donald and Donna Smith of Port Orchard; and Jerry Smith of Anchorage; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Willard Bradbury Hall
A memorial service has been held for Sequim resident Willard Bradbury Hall, who died Oct. 15, 2008, at the age of 81.
He was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Wenatchee, to Willard and Edna Bradbury.
He married Myra Loraine Biltoft in 1962 in Poulsbo.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a fireman second class during World War II. He was discharged in August 1946, then served in the U.S. Army as a corporal from 1953-1954.
Mr. Hall worked for Bangor and later
AT & T, living mostly in the South King County area and then Sequim. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, hunting and camping. He also coached baseball and soccer. He was a member of Auburn Elks and Sequim Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Loraine Hall of Sequim; son Larry Lyons of Camino Island; daughters Sharen Duffing of Michigan; Belinda Hamilton of Hoquiam; and DeNel Stebly of Maple Valley; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
