Baby Tyson
Robert Teall
A memorial service for Port Angeles resident baby Tyson Robert Teall will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Calvary Chapel of Sequim, 91 S. Boyce Road, Sequim. He was born May 23, 2009, and died July 26, 2009, at the age of two months and three days due to complications from a rare genetic disorder.
Pastor Hans Bailey is the officiant.

Burnis F. Abbott
A service was held for Port Angeles resident Burnis Abbott, who died July 24, 2009, at the age of 84 of cancer.
He was born May 19, 1925, in Trousdale, Okla., to Otis and Freda Limke Abbott.
He married Betty Tucker in 1949 at First Baptist Church in Port Angeles.
A high school graduate, he worked for Crown Zellerbach in Port Angeles.
Mr. Abbott enjoyed sports, farming and music.
He was a member of First Methodist Congregational Church, the Eagles Lodge, Mount Pleasant Grange and Local 155 Union.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Abbott; son Sheridan Abbot; daughter and son-in-law Lori and Daniel Christianson; sisters Margaret Mooney, Agnes Synar, Marcella Meiser and Gene Hitt; and several aunts, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his son Guy Abbott and brother Wilfred Abbott.

Margaret I. Simpson
No services were reported for Sequim resident Margaret I. Simpson, who died July 26, 2009, at the age of 82.
She was born Dec. 1, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Amos Little and Lillian Elnora Carr Jones.
She married Donald Simpson in Richfield on Nov. 12, 1948. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2006.
Mrs. Simpson worked at Nabisco Baking Co. for 40 years while she and her husband lived in Portland, Ore. The Simpsons also lived in Calle Junction, Ore., and the Phoenix, 18., area after their retirement in 1985. They traveled in the Southwest and Mexico, and to Fiji. They relocated to Sequim in May 2006 to be near family.
She was a member of Sequim Foursquare Church and the Bakery and Confectionery Union.
She is survived by her brother-in-law Bill Simpson of Sequim; a nephew and a grandson.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Louise in 1988.

She was born Sept. 13, 1925.
