Molly Buhler

A memorial service for Sequim resident Molly Buhler will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at

Sequim Bible Church, 847 N. Sequim Ave.

Mrs. Buhler died July 10, 2009, at the age of 46 of complications arising from a brain disorder.

She was born Sept. 24, 1962, in Yakima to Edward and Dolores Rapsch Fitzpatrick.

She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1980. A special education teacher in Seattle, she graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1992. She served in the United States Army from 1982-1984 as a truck driver in Germany.

She and Craig Buhler married on March 4, 1995, in Seattle, and lived in

Sequim from 1988-1990 and 2004-2009.

Mrs. Buhler is survived by her husband, Craig Buhler of Sequim; brothers John Fitzgerald of Olympia; Steve Fitzgerald of Arizona; Ed Fitzgerald of Sequim; and Les Fitzgerald of Seattle; sisters Susan Sparks of Aberdeen; Janis Fitzgerald of Alaska; Barbara Stine of Lynnwood; and Rosann Fitzgerald of Olympia; eight nephews; and 12 nieces.

She attended the Little Brown Church of Blyn.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Small Beginnings Ministries in Seattle or Peninsula Community Mental Health.



Helen Marie

Stoneman

Private services will be held for Sequim resident Helen Marie Stoneman, who died Aug. 31, 2009, at the age of 70.

She was born June 17, 1939, in Port Angeles to James and Marie Williams.

She married Don Stoneman on June 18, 1972, in Port Angeles.

She is survived by her husband, Don Stoneman of Sequim; daughter and son-in-law Dana King and Tom Gillotti; stepdaughters Carol and Lee Adams and Sue Stoneman and Mike Gardner, all of Port Angeles; sisters Joann Laugallies and Jenny Murray; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Baker Harmon and son-in-law Rick Harmon.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a favorite charity.



Merwin Anderson

No service was reported for Sequim resident Merwin Anderson, who died Sept. 5, 2009, at the age of 81 of cancer.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.

He was born July 20, 1928, in Tacoma, to Arthur and Isabelle Groves Anderson.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War in Korea and Japan.

Raised in Tacoma, he moved to Sequim as an adult.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Dona and Anthony Mazzuca of Tacoma, several nephews and nieces, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister Verna Kelly of Sequim and brothers Ralph Anderson of Tacoma and Raymond Anderson of Roseburg, Ore.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a favorite charity. Sequim Valley Chapel was in charge of arrangements.



Frances Jo

Yanagihara

A memorial service will be announced at a later date for Sequim resident Frances Jo Yanagihara, who died Sept. 6, 2009, at the age of 69 of cancer.

She was born Oct. 21, 1939.

Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
