Kathleen Mary Little
A memorial service will be held for Sequim resident Kathleen Mary Little at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Faith Lutheran Church, 382 W. Cedar St., Sequim. She died Aug. 19, 2011, at the age of 70.
She was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Downey, Calif., to Coral Ethan and Ellen Ann Taylor Little.
She married Alfred Sims on Feb. 15, 1963, in Seattle. They later divorced.
She owned Sims Bookkeeping and prepared taxes.
Her interests included music, art, sewing, and making things for sale.
An active member of the National Society of Public Accountants, she taught Sunday school.
She also was a Master Gardener and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her children Alex Sims; Alisa Bower; Colin Sims; and Jenny Leach; siblings Gene Little, Chuck Little and Lois Guerrero; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 13 nephews and nieces.
Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Erwin August Bahr
A funeral service was held for Sequim resident Erwin August Bahr, who died Aug. 25, 2011, at the age of 83.
He was born Aug. 12, 1928, in Beaver Crossing, Neb., to Herman and Anna Schroeder Bahr.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was a master carpenter and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his companion Doris Ferdig of Sequim; son Erwin August Bahr Jr., of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughters Judy Beth Jones of Lincoln, Neb., and Carol Ann Potter of Neligh, Neb.; stepchildren and their families, Rodney Hilgren of Crete, Neb.; Rick Hilgren of Port Angeles; Janette Fischer of Ewing, Neb.; and Pam Tielke of South Dakota; sister Viola Zwick of Seward, Neb.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Sequim Valley Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Marion A. Hiatt
Port Angeles resident Marion A. Hiatt died Aug. 26, 2011, at the age of 98.
She was born Feb. 6, 1913.

Robert L. Bent
1940-2011
Born in Forks Washington, Bob grew up with loving parents, Walter and Alice; sister, Lola and his dog, Popsicle.
After high school Bob served in the Army. He became a builder and a craftsman who built many homes in Forks, Sequim, Hawaii and Ocean Shores. Bob loved the outdoors, mostly fishing, golf and long walks.
Bob is survived by wife, Bobbi of Ocean Shores, WA; his
daughters and their families, DeEtta, Gordon, Cameron and Nathan Snyder of Redmond Washington and LaRai, Paul,
Parker and Sloane Wichelmann of Sammamish Washington, also his sister, a niece and three nephews. Bob will be missed by his many special friends and all who knew him.

Heidi A. Sullivan 1956-2011
Heidi A. Sullivan of Concord, age 54, resolved her five-year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on August 25, 2011.
Heidi was born August 29, 1956 in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of George and Hazel (Wilson) Hafeli. She grew up in Peterborough, New Hampshire, Southern Pines, North Carolina, Sarasota, Florida and Nashua, New Hampshire. She spent much time in her youth in Sharon, New Hampshire with her beloved grandparents Rose “Mimi” and Harold “Puppa” Wilson. Heidi graduated from The Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts and Rivier College, Nashua, New Hampshire, where she received a degree in Political Science in 1978.
In 1978, Heidi married James L. Sullivan and they settled in the Nashua area. In 1979, Heidi and James welcomed a their son, Ben, to their family.
Heidi delighted in knitting, walking, gardening, and picking berries, especially after relocating to Concord, NH in 2001, where she took great joy in their house and land. Heidi was a friend of all living things, with the notable exception of spiders and snakes. She, however, took particular joy in the companionship of her dogs, Spunky, Finnegan, and Sadie. From 2003 to 2007 Heidi was employed as a legal secretary at the Disabilities Rights Center in Concord.
Heidi is survived by her mother, Hazel Hafeli, of Sequim, Washington, her husband, James, her son, Ben, and daughter-in-law, Sara, both of Flagstaff, Arizona. She is predeceased by her father, George Hafeli.
An interment and celebration of Heidi’s life will be held in the autumn. Heidi would ask that donations be made to the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA, 130 Washington Street, Penacook, NH 03033-1522 or to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
