Morgan Brian Gaughan
Morgan Brian Gaughan, 42, passed away on November 1, 2012, while on Cape Cod visiting his Aunt Ellie and cousin Heather.
Morgan had a love of life, adventure and family that was truly inspiring. He travelled the world and enjoyed other cultures and people.
He grew up mostly in Sequim, WA with his mother, Martha Collins and stepfather Richard Schneider, and also in Michigan with his father Jack and stepmother Joan and sister Allision – all of whom he adored.
Graduating from the University of Washington in international studies and economics, he lived a decade in Hong Kong before going to New York city.
Always a generous and loving man, he was happy to help in any way he could. Even in difficult times Morgan’s optimism never diminished. He truly believed that the future would only bring better days and that the past had been a lot of fun. Much of the good times, the best times, were because of him; his laughter and smile always lit up the room and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He enjoyed sun and sand, wind and water and scuba diving.
Sadly, his life ended prematurely; but even so his generosity lives on and we pray that his last gifts will help others in their time of need as he had helped so many before.
Rest in Peace, Morgan
