March 18, 2009Gayle G. Secor-LucasA memorial service for Port Angeles resident Gayle G. Secor-Lucas will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Drennan & Ford Funeral Home, 260 Monroe Road, Port Angeles. Mrs. Secor-Lucas died March 12, 2009, at the age of 71 of heart failure following surgery. She was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Enumclaw to Harry Elwood and Isabel Keys Secor. She graduated from Sequim High School in 1953. She married Manfred Manny Lucas on Dec. 18, 1993, in Port Angeles. She previously was married to Kenneth Gene McLennan. Owner/operator of Creative Delights Catering service, she lived in the Sequim/Port Angeles area since 1945. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and beachcombing. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and her flowers. She was a member of Toastmasters International. She is survived by her husband, Manny Lucas; sons and daughters-in-law Scott Gene and Deborah Ann McLennan and Pat Harry and Edie McLennan; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Travis Klink A memorial service for Travis Klink will be held at 1 p.m. today, March 18, at Drennan-Ford Funeral Home, 260 Monroe Road, Port Angeles. The Rev. Dr. William Klink will preside. Visitation is from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Mr. Klink died March 13, 2009, at his Carlsborg home, at the age of 29. The cause of death is pending. He was born Nov. 8, 1979, in Calloway, Neb., to Bob and Bonnie Tiffany Klink. In addition to Nebraska, he lived in Kansas, Texas and Colorado. The family moved to the peninsula in 1986 and he graduated from Sequim High School in 1998. He and Yvonne Sayer married Dec. 1, 1999 in Sequim. Mr. Klink worked as an auto technician at Wilder Toyota. He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, boogie boarding and his tunes. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Ayden Klink, 4, and daughter Haylee Klink, 8; his parents, in Sequim; brother and sister-in-law Ryan and Ava Klink, with the U.S. Army in Fort Hood, Texas. David Clough Calloway A celebration of life for Port Angeles resident David Clough Calloway will be held at 5 p.m. April 15 at Port Angeles Eagles Club, 110 S. Penn St., Port Angeles. Mr. Calloway died March 10, 2009, at the age of 60 of pancreatic cancer. He was born April 15, 1948. He married Joanna Goodrich on Jan. 23, 1982, in San Diego, Calif. Love of the ocean and surfing drew him to commercial fishing in San Diego and Mexico for 20 years. He moved his family to Port Angeles in 1991, where he worked as a salesman at Angeles Millwork & Lumber Co., Lumbermens, and Valley Construction. He owned Calloway Tractor. He enjoyed fly fishing, crabbing, friends and family, barbecues, tractors, boats, hard work and animals. Mr. Calloway is survived by his wife Joanna; son Garret David Calloway; daughter Cayte Calloway and partner Cameron Clearwater; a sister and brother-in-law in San Diego; mother Virginia Clough Calloway of San Marcos, Calif.; and one grandchild.
