July 22, 2009Wayne Allen KinseyNo services were reported for Sequim resident Wayne Allen Kinsey, who died July 11, 2009, at the age of 61 of cancer. He was born March 16, 1948, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He married Bobbi Duncan on April 7, 1988, in Comox, British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Kinsey moved to Sequim in 1991. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 17 years in sniper, rescue and E4. Mr. Kinsey was a soldier, sailor, emergency medical technician, fireman and commercial pilot. He translated Vietnamese and spoke Russian and French fluently. He loved life, sailing the seven seas, caving, scuba diving, flying, watching movies, debating and pubbing. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4760; Echo 2, 9; and Mile High Club. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Kinsey of Sequim, and surrogate son Skyler Steven. Memorial contributions may be sent to Clallam County Veterans Relief Fund or Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Del Merrill Aure A Mass to celebrate the life of Del Merrill Aure, of Sequim, begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple St., Sequim. A luncheon follows at the parish hall. Mr. Aure died June 27, 2009, at 71. He is survived by his wife, Ann, of Sequim, two sons, four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen Ann (Kate) Dodge Myers A celebration of the life of Kathleen Ann (Kate) Dodge Myers, of Sequim, will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, 72 Howe Road, Agnew. |
