Port Angeles Association of Realtors (PAAR) President Kelly Johnson presents a check for $2,532 to Mutual Self-Help Housing Manger Kay Kassinger during the PAAR 11/15/1211 meeting. 

The Mutual Self-Help Housing Program provides assistance to low income families who actually build their own houses with assistance and supervision from subject matter experts employed by the program.

“The Realtors are very enthusiastic about this program and we have been supporting it for the past 5 years,” said Johnson.  “It is a really emotional experience to watch these people move into the houses that they built with their own hands… houses that, without this program, they would never have had a chance to own.”
