Elk sharpshooters shine

A keen eye and some great coordination.
Those skills served these youths well at the annual Sequim Elks hoops shoot Nov. 8 at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.
Winners in six divisions - one each in boys and girls divisions in the 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13 categories - found the net and now advance to a regional playoff in Hoquiam on Jan. 24.
Post another win and these hoopsters move on to the state tournament in Bellevue on Feb. 14.
The Elks credits the Boys & Girls Club for supporting the event.
