Cedars' women's club seeks players
The Women's Club at The Cedars at Dungeness golf course is open to all female golfers to participate in weekly and special events at the course.
The group plays on Tuesday mornings with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. Weekly events run through October.
Special events include monthly medal competitions, match play in the President's Cup tourney, a club championship in August and an invitational - The Days of Whine and Roses - in September.
The group also plays in tourneys in the region.
The club has a membership of about 31 players, says club spokesman Bonney Benson. Guests are welcome, she says.
