Marcy 5th at Pac-10 finals

Stephanie Marcy, a 2007 Sequim High School graduate and cross country state champion, placed fifth at the Pac-10 cross country championships for Stanford on Oct. 30.

Marcy completed the 6,000-meter course in 20 minutes and 12.3 seconds, less than 30 seconds behind overall champion Jordan Hasay of Oregon.

Marcy helped the Cardinal take first place in the team standings with three runners in the top 10, edging Arizona.

Marcy earned All-American track & field status in June, placing eighth in the 10,000 meters.
