The first of what organizers hope are many First Federal Babe Ruth Cup games was played Friday, May 20, at Sequim High School. Here, branch managers join players and coaches following a barnburner that kicks off the series. Sequim took an early 10-2 lead before Port Angeles roared back to take an 11-10 lead. Not to be outdone on their home field, Sequim won the game on a squeeze play in the bottom of the seventh inning, 12-11.
