The Port Angeles and Sequim Boys Middle School lacrosse team began practice on Feb. 1, but there still is time to register for the team by going to North Olympic Peninsula Youth Lacrosse at www.mountaineerslax.org.

An informational meeting and demonstration is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the Agnew Community Center. Meet the coaches and hear about plans for the team.

Fifteen players from Sequim Middle School and Stevens Middle School in Port Angeles make up the roster and the team practices and plays at Storm King Agnew Field on North Barr Road.

No prior experience is required and equipment is provided.

Seasons run from February-May.

The Sequim/Port Angeles team plays in the South Sound Lacrosse League comprised of teams from Kitsap County and Gig Harbor to Tacoma.
