The Landing Artists Studio announces that Maryann Proctor has joined the studio with her amazing “chickens with an attitude.” All of Proctor’s chicken drawings are based on the personalities of her own birds.

Proctor captures their unique personalities in their faces and dress. Be it a “Sunday going to church” outfit, bib overalls or the obstinate blue and white attitude stripes, the birds always brings smiles and chuckles to those who read about them and their quirky behaviors.

Proctor also is president of Sequim Arts and resides between Sequim and Port Angeles.

The studio presents a wide range of fine art, hand- made silk and wool scarves, Zen tangle art, Steampunk art, jewelry, and gifts.

Visit the Landing Artists Studio and Proctor’s hen house at the Landing Mall, 115 E. Railroad Ave., Port Angeles. Hours are 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The studio is closed on Thursdays.

The studio will resume its participation in the Second Weekend Art Walk in April.
