• Sequim Arts will have a demonstration of painting dog portraits at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church hall, 525 N. Fifth Ave.,

Sequim. The free program features artist Aalyn Cowan.

 

• Christian Edition, a men’s chorus, will be performing in Sequim at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15. It presents a program of classic Christian hymns and selected contemporary sacred music. No admission, but an opportunity for a love offering.

• The Juan De Fuca Foundation presents Cirque Zuma Zuma at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Port Angeles High School Auditorium, 304 E. Park Ave., Port Angeles. Tickets $15-$35 (youth 14 and under $10), available at jffa.org (online), Port Book and News, Port Angeles; and Joyful Noise Music, Sequim. Cirque Zuma Zuma combinines mysticism, magic of the African continent with theatrical cirque performance.

• The Compassionate Friends Grief Support Group meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month, 6-8 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, downstairs, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim. Members offer friendship and emotional support to those who have experienced the loss of a child or an adult child.

• The National MS Society has a support group in Sequim. Meetings are from 2-4:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at the Sequim Library. Call Patty Jones at 808-9626 for more information.
