M.V. COHO moves to expanded spring schedule
In time for the Memorial Day long weekend, Black Ball Ferry Line is launching its expanded spring schedule with six sailings a day on the M.V. COHO’s 90-minute route between Port Angeles, and Victoria, B.C.
The M.V. COHO will depart Port Angeles daily at 8:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. The 8:15 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. sailings are new departure times for the M.V. COHO and mark a change from previous schedules. Return sailings from Victoria are at 10:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily.

Guild Thrift store is open
The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild Thrift Shop, 204 W. Bell St., in Sequim, will be open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 19. Spring fashions for guys, gals and children are featured as well as household accessories. All white tag items are marked half price. A few tickets are left for the May 23 Fashion Show at 7 Cedars; the thrift shop is closed that day.
Gray qualifies for leaders conference
Cheryl Gray, an Edward Jones financial advisor in Sequim, has qualified for the firm’s 2012 Financial Advisor Leaders Conference to be held in St. Louis, Mo. The conference recognizes leading financial advisors and provides additional training. Gray was one of only 570 financial advisors out of 11,000 with the firm who qualified.
Butler joins EDC board

Mobile Imaging Tour completes run
The Mobile Breast Imaging Tour, which traveled the peninsula and through the Northwest between October 2011 and March 2012, benefited more than 2,300 women, many of them without health insurance. The tour, a partnership between Ford Motor Company and local Ford and Lincoln dealers, was in Port Angeles in January.
