Sheriff’s department seeking ‘person of interest’ in beating death

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a second “person of interest” in the beating death of Diane Cunningham.

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a second “person of interest” in the beating death of Diane Cunningham.

Cunningham is seen on video at the 7 Cedars Casino, and the Port Angeles Wal-Mart early on the morning of Sept. 28. It both videos she is in the company of an individual who has been identified as Ari Lee King.

Investigators have not been able to contact King. According to family members, King has not been seen since the end of September.

King is a 41-year-old white male who recently moved to the Solmar neighborhood from King County last year. He is described as being 6 feet tall, 250 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

King is believed to be in the company of his dog Bubba, who has been described as a light colored pit bull-German Sheppard mix.

Investigators are currently trying to locate King to interview him about his recent interactions with the victim.
