Santa and Mrs. Claus can bring cheer on days other than Dec. 25.
The Breakfast with Santa event, held at Sequim High School on Dec. 11, brought in more than $3,000 and saw more than 850 attendees, said organizer Kristin Glenn.
“Thanks to a number of generous donors, we were able to provide free tickets to many families who might not otherwise have been able to attend the breakfast,” Glenn said.
The event is a fundraiser for Citizens for Sequim Schools, a grassroots group that helps the Sequim School District pass levies.
All food was donated by Sodexo. Laurie Campen coordinated the breakfast and a number of volunteers from Sequim schools helped throughout the event.
