Master Gardener plant clinics begin in March

WSU Extension Clallam County Master Gardeners will begin weekly plant answer clinics for the 2014 season in Port Angeles on Thursday, March 6. The clinics will be held from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. each Thursday through Oct. 30 in the lobby of the old Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Saturday plant answer clinics in Sequim start later in the spring, on May 10, at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road, Sequim.

Plant answer clinics are designed, and made available to the public, to help answer gardening questions and solve insect and plant disease problems in home landscapes and gardens. Local Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand to identify plants, address plant and pest problems and to help clients find sustainable research-based information for their gardens.

Clinics are free and open to home gardeners; no appointments are necessary. Call Laurel Moulton of WSU Master Gardeners of Clallam County at 565-2679.
