Cannon celebrates 20th with Wright’s Home Care

Susan Cannon of Wright’s Home Care Agency, Inc, celebrates her 20th anniversary with the company this year.

Nash’s February display features local grains

Nash’s Full-Grocery Farm Store hosts an informative display during February about the grains grown in the

Sequim-Dungeness Valley. The display covers their histories, nutritional profiles and uses  as well as the life cycle of grain production for hard red wheat, soft white wheat, triticale, barley, rye and buckwheat. There will be free recipes on hand for the different grains and bagged grain for sale.

Dockside Grill closed for Super Bowl Sunday

The Dockside Grill will be closed on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 5.  

The restaurant will be open on its usual schedule again Wednesday, Feb. 8.  

The Dockside Grill also will be open Tuesday, Feb. 14, St. Valentine’s Day, with its regular hours, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for lunch and 4-9 p.m. for dinner. Call 683-7510 for reservations.

Guild’s thrift shop open Saturday

The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild’s thrift shop, 204 W. Bell St., Sequim, will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.

Gently used winter clothing, furniture items, dishes and housewares and clothing accessories will be available.

The shop is also in need of volunteers.

B&B’s earn Four Diamonds

AAA added two Port Angeles lodgings to its 2012 list of AAA Four Diamond properties in Washington. Sea Cliff Gardens Bed & Breakfast, 397 Monterra Drive, and Colette’s Bed and Breakfast, 339 Finn Hall Road, are among a total of 32 lodgings and eight restaurants represented on the AAA Four Diamond Award list in Washington and northern Idaho this year.
