Officials acting like bullies

Each week, the Sequim Gazette has another story about “the commissioners” blocking the retail sale and production of legalized marijuana.

I checked and Clallam County voted yes on retail pot sales.

So, why not just embrace the new resource in our community and support the families who are just trying to obey the law and make a living?

The actions of those officials behind the moratorium and the denied permit to grow retail pot do not represent the majority of voters in our county. Besides, just think of how far people will drive if they can get lavender AND pot here.

I hope the families trying to open their businesses will hire a really good lawyer and fight this.

I don’t like bullies and I will not vote for any of the elected officials who are involved in this again.
