Easter closure

Dockside Grill at John Wayne Marina will be closed Easter Sunday, April 20. It will re-open from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m for lunch Wednesday-Saturday and 4-9 p.m. for dinner.

Pair of new wines introduced

Wind Rose Cellars will be releasing two new wines this week. It will released its 2012 Harvest Moon (100 percent Cabernet) on April 15. This Cabernet wine was pressed on the Harvest Moon of 2012 and bottled one year later on the 2013 Harvest Moon. A portion of the sales for the Harvest Moon will be donated by Wind Rose Cellars to the North Olympic Land Trust. It also will release a new vintage of its popular Rosato, a dry rose wine, on April 19.

New name for Prairie Springs

Prairie Springs Assisted Living has changed its name to Sinclair Place, reflecting its refreshed commitment to enriching the lives of the residents it serves. Its parent company, Assisted Living Concepts, also changed its name to Enlivant with a redesigned web page at www.Enlivant.com. Call Sinclair Place at 681-3385.

Hall certified on TRX

Kenny Hall of Sequim’s Anytime Fitness (10131 Old Olympic Highway) is now a new TRX certified suspension professional on the peninsula. TRX training uses body weight as resistance weight to tighten one’s core, build lean muscle and boost metabolism.

Also, Anytime Fitness in Sequim is now offering golf fitness training through Titleist Performance Institute. Hall, the instructor, is a TPI certified professional. Call 683-4110.

Basket making class returns

Peninsula Nurseries announces the return of Darrel Sharpe and his Spring Basket Making Class. Wire frames, hangers, moss and soil will be available as well as a large selection of basket stuffers. The class will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17. Location will be at 1060 Sequim-Dungeness Way. Reservations are highly recommended as the class fills fast.

Free info sessions at weight loss center

Ideal Weight Loss & Wellness Center hosts free information sessions twice per month at the clinic, 645 W. Washington St., Sequim. The next one is at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22. Business tax workshop sert

To help business owners better understand knowing which taxes to report, the Port Angeles office of the Washington State Department of Revenue is hosting a free workshop for new and small business owners from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, April 22, at the Clallam Transit System conference room, 830 W. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.
