WSU Soil Scientist Craig Cogger will talk to local farmers and the community on climate change and its impact on agriculture and food production locally and globally.
His lecture will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Transit Center, 190 W. Cedar St., Sequim. The lecture is free.
Cogger will discuss the science of climate change and future changes to the climate. A WSU soil scientist for 30 years, Cogger also will speak on how climate change could affect food production globally, in the Pacific Northwest and on the Olympic Peninsula.
