Classes are free and are open to anyone who is serious about learning and being a part of a race committee. The second and third classes are set for April 14 and April 28. Each class builds on information from the previous class; while it is possible join in on a later class, participants will get the most benefit if they attend all three classes, event organizers say.

The club is actively seeking volunteers to help run its summer races and regattas. For more information, call Dale Dunning at 360-214-1321 or e-mail info@opsailing.com.
