Fire District 3’s Carlsborg training center was recently home to some serious training for 23 recruits, including those from Joyce and Fire District 2 (Port Angeles) districts as well as Sequim’s own District 3.

The 13-week academy started Jan. 4 and ends March 30.

After completing the course, recruits are eligible to become volunteers with their respective districts.
