The North Olympic Library System’s popular “Family Flicks” movie series continues Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
The second in the 2015 series kicks off with a screening of “The Adventures of Tintin” at 2 p.m. The film, winner of the 2011 Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film, is “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” based on the classic children’s book of the same name. Starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner, the 2014 live-action comedy follows an ordinary 11-year-old boy on one extraordinary day.
The 2015 series concludes on Dec. 5 with the computer-animated film “Meet the Robinsons,” which tells the story of a young orphan whose inventions scare away prospective parents.
Offered at 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month, October-April, “Family Flicks” provides family entertainment, popcorn and fun movie trivia, program organizers say. The program is supported by the Friends of Sequim Library.
