The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1024, Port Angeles are hosting a POW/MIA recognition ceremony at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Clallam County veteran’s center, 216 S. Francis Street, Port Angeles.

Each year on, the third Friday of September, citizens recognize POW/MIA Recognition Day and honor the commitment and sacrifices made by this nation’s Prisoners of War and those who are still Missing in Action, as well as their families.

All families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
