Two peninsula artists have been accepted into the 2011 CVG Show, a statewide juried art show held in February at the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton. Quilcene fine art photographer Harry von Stark’s photograph “MainLine” is one of 129 artworks chosen from more than 700 by exhibition juror Dennis Peacock. Sequim artist Terry Grasteit’s paintings “Cascade” and “Blue Bird” also have been selected. Grasteit is a member of the Blue Whole Gallery in Sequim.

Peacock is a sculptor and professor emeritus from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville who is based in Shelton.

Accepted artists will be competing for $6,000-plus in cash prizes and awards.

The Collective Visions Gallery is at 331 Pacific Ave. in downtown Bremerton and will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1-5   p.m. on Sundays in February.
