Summer Revival Services are coming to First Baptist Church, Sequim. Come revive your spirit as you listen to uplifting music and hear master storyteller Pastor Alvin Funkhouser at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10; also at 6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, July 11-13. Priest to speak about work in Uganda
Unity Spiritual Enrichment Center in Port Townsend is sponsoring a talk by the Rev. Centurio Olaboro on being a Catholic priest in eastern Uganda working to unite religious groups, educate the young, fight for fair elections and advocate for the orphans of the AIDS epidemic.
The presentation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 11, at the Port Townsend Senior Citizens/Community Center, 620 Tyler St. Olaboro is the director of Great Aubrey College in Torero, Uganda, and the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda.
‘The Timelessness of Love’
The Rev. Julia McKenna-Blessing will speak at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, Agnew, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 10, on “The Timelessness of Love.” She is an interdenominational minister, ordained 30 years ago at the Westminster Abbey of the Pacific, Kawaiaha’o Church, and has spoken throughout the United States, Canada and England.

Holy Trinity plans six devotions
Summertime is just the time for a relaxed and inspiring evening devotion at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave. in Port Angeles. The devotions will be at 7 p.m. every Wednesday from July 13-Aug. 17 in the chapel and will use the ancient form of Lectio Divina.
Participants will read the biblical text and listen to what word or phrase resonates in their hearts and minds.
