Audubon Center wins grant

The Dungeness River Audubon Center, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, has been awarded a TogetherGreen Innovation grant to increase awareness of the Dungeness River and its importance to the area.

The Dungeness River Audubon Center, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, has been awarded a TogetherGreen Innovation grant to increase awareness of the Dungeness River and its importance to the area. The major sponsors of the grant are Toyota and the National Audubon Society.

Board member Lyn Muench was instrumental in writing the grant proposal that stressed the river and the Audubon Center’s partnership with the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe.
