[Updated Nov. 8, 2011] A local hand-painted image of a man and girl sharing ice cream was stolen from the side of Hurricane Coffee, Co., this weekend.
Carol and Gary Zellmer, owners of the buildings housing Heather Creek and Hurricane Coffee Co., said they recently moved the painting from the side of the old ice cream shop, now Heather Creek, to the side of Hurricane Coffee.
Carol Zellmer said the piece of art is valued as high as several thousand dollars.
The Zellmers are offering a reward for the picture in order to return it to the east side of Hurricane Coffee. If you have any information, visit 125 N. Sequim Ave., or call 683-2548.
