On Feb. 27, Joy Sheedy of the Port Angeles Chapter IV of PEO presented Angela Dawn Graham with a $1,800 Program for Continuing Education (PCE) grant.

This grant is for women who have returned to college and are within two years of completing their course of study.

Graham is enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management degree program at Peninsula College in Port Angeles. She expects to graduate in June 2015.

She is an honor student and president of Phi Theta Kappa, she is a self-published author of “Potty Trained By Two” (www.pottytrainedbytwo.com). She has a diverse work history including relief work in Puerto Rico with Americorps, developing and managing a honey business, as well as managing a corporate airport in Alaska.  The grant helps Graham complete her BAS degree and enable her to achieve her future career goals in management on the peninsula.
