All the jazz at PC

Jazz fans from Clallam County have the chance to hear renowned American fluegelhornist Dmitri Matheny live in concert with the David P. Jones Quartet, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in Peninsula College’s Maier Hall, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

This ensemble features jazz musicians from many different groups around the North Olympic Peninsula and the Puget Sound region: Kevin MacCartney (tenor sax and flute), David Jones (piano), Ted Enderle (bass) and Terry Smith (drums). The concert features new compositions by both Matheny and Jones as well as many standards and modern jazz classics.
