Danika Duncan recently graduated from the Institute of Technology Carlow in Carlow, Ireland.
A 2008 graduate of Sequim high School, Duncan went on to Western Washington to pursue a career in industrial design. She visited IT Carlow on a study abroad program and then decided to transfer to complete her degree.
Duncan earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Product Design Innovation on Nov. 6. Her parents, Bob and Mary Jane Duncan, were in attendance.
She received a sizable scholarship to IT Carlow because her great-grandmother was Irish.
Duncan is employed in Dublin, Ireland, working to design medical instruments used for surgeries.
