On Wednesday, Nov. 2, Cub Scouts from Sequim Pack 4490 visited the Elwha Dam removal site and viewed dam artifacts now owned by the Clallam County Historical Society. National Park Service Ranger Dean Butterworth (in the photo), Dan Link of Barnard Construction and Robert Elofson of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe guided the Cubs through the dam removal procedures and the salmon restoration process. At the historical society, Kathy Monds displayed dam artifacts. Go to sequimscouts.org for more information on Pack 4490.
