Support Bell for commission

I recommend the election of Ron Bell to the Clallam County Charter Review Commission, District 1, in the upcoming general election.

Five members of the eastern-most district in Clallam County (District 1) will be selected to work with those from other parts of the county to consider any potential changes to the Home Rule Charter, which provides control of county affairs rather than the state Legislature.

In 2007, I was privileged to serve on the Charter Review Commission. I believe Ron Bell will work well with other commissioners and listen to the public’s suggested changes to the charter. He will listen to you.

Ron is not part of a slate of candidates; he will provide an independent voice and vote for the citizens in District 1. He is a longtime citizen of Clallam County and has served on the Clallam County Planning Commission, the Peninsula College Foundation Board, Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce board, and is a past president of the Sequim Sunrise Rotary. Ron and his wife, Ruth, raised their children Kristin and Tommy here. Please join me in voting for Ron Bell.
