Weekly story times at the Sequim Library resume Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Toddler story time is 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday and is recommended for children between the ages of 18 months-3 years.
Preschool story time is 11:30 a.m. each Wednesday and is recommended for children ages 3-5.
All story times feature age-appropriate books, finger plays, rhymes and action songs, often with a simple craft for children to take home, program organizers say.
Beginning Sept. 18, the library introduces a new story time for babies every Thursday at 11 a.m. This program features action songs, finger plays and nursery rhymes with added time for parents and caregivers to meet and visit following each session.
All three programs run through the middle of December, resume in early January and run through mid-May.
For more information about these and other programs for families and youth, call the Sequim Library at 683-1161, send an e-mail to Youth@nols.org or visit www.nols.org.
Story time programs are supported by the Friends of Sequim Library.
