Construction for the Carlsborg Sewer Project continues on as local and out-of-town contractors such as Bridge Masters Inc., of Bend, Ore., work to install sewer line under the Dungeness River Bridge on U.S. Highway 101. The westbound right lane at milepost 262 will remain closed through Friday, Sept. 9, until crews finish this portion of the project. The firm Pacific Civil & Infrastructure, Inc. leads the project with a bid of up to $9.025 million that’s scheduled to be substantially complete by April 1, 2017. It will connect a pump station in Carlsborg to the City of Sequim via the bridge to a collection system at Grant Road and sent to the City’s Water Reclamation Facility.
