Contributor Jay Cline captured this image of the Cox Valley Fire in Olympic National Park on July 29. Four separate fires raged in the the park last week. Wildfires totaling 250 acres — more than double initial National Park Service estimates — were decreasing in intensity Sunday, July 31, due to cooler weather, a park official said.
