Sculptors announce scholarship winner

The Olympic Driftwood Sculptors group has announced its 2016 scholarship award winner: Elijah Nathaniel Fenter.

The Olympic Driftwood Sculptors group has announced its 2016 scholarship award winner: Elijah Nathaniel Fenter.

Fenter is a Port Townsend High School graduate pursuing the arts at Northwest College of Art & Design in Poulsbo.

The scholarship is $1,000.

Olympic Driftwood Sculptors is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization. The membership presents three driftwood exhibits annually in Sequim. The combination of driftwood art sales as well as donations received allows the scholarship committee to review applications sent in by high school students pursuing the arts.
