Basic boating weather and forecasting clinic set
Ray Mahalic of the North Olympic Sail and Power Squadron presents “Basic Weather and Forecasting” from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 5, at Sunland Golf & Country Club, 135 Fairway Dr.
This clinic is free and open to the public.
This seminar helps answer questions about whether wind conditions are too strong, what small craft advisories are and more, and to gain an understanding of the forces acting on one’s boat.
Understand the forecast and know what to expect whether in a kayak, trawler, sailboat or schooner.
