Ready, set, learn!
Sequim families turned out in big numbers to collect supplies and information at the fourth-annual Back to School Fair on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.
Event organizers said more than 850 people came through the club’s doors — including 450 students — to take advantage of activities, food, free backpacks, school supplies and other giveaways, free haircuts, car seat checks and vision screenings, interactive exhibits, information about local schools, early childhood resources, health resources and more.
The Sequim School District, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, Parenting Matters Foundation/First Teacher and other groups collaborated to bring services and resources at no charge to Sequim families.
