The Washington State Auditor’s Office has given Clallam County PUD No. 1 a favorable report on its operational and financial management.

The latest accountability audit report, presented to PUD commissioners at their Jan. 25 meeting, covers the period of Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2014.

According to the report, “District operations complied with applicable requirements and provided adequate safeguarding of public resources. The District also complied with state laws and regulations and its own policies and procedures in the areas we examined.”

“This report reflects the good work of all 140 employees of Clallam PUD,” commission president Will Purser said.
