United Way of Clallam County announced last week that $100,000 is available for early learning grants.

A portion of those funds will be allocated to programs which will be renewing last year’s grants.

To be eligible, agencies must attend one of two mandatory bidders conferences: 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, at Linkletter Hall, or 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, in the Fairster Room, both at Olympic Memorial Hospital, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles.

The bidders’ conference includes a mandatory one-hour outcomes training.

Great Beginnings grant applications will be due no later than close of business Friday, Oct. 3.
