Anglers to meet
The Puget Sound Anglers North Olympic Peninsula Chapter sponsors the North of Falcon meeting, starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., Sequim, in lieu of its regular meeting.
This is the annual meeting held by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to discuss with the public the data regarding salmon season setting for the upcoming year.
The interested fishing public is encouraged to come and provide input; biologists will be on hand to answer questions.
The meeting should conclude by 9 p.m.
St. Paddy’s run set
The Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department hosts the St. Paddy’s Day Fun Run/Walk Saturday, March 19, beginning at noon.
The 5k/10k run/walk starts at the City Pier and follows the Waterfront Trail out and back.

Gut Buster tourney set at SkyRidge
SkyRidge Golf Course, 7015 Old Olympic Highway), hosts The Gut Buster tournament, set for a 9 a.m. start Saturday, March 19.
Format is individual medal play and includes men’s, women’s and senior men’s division. Fee is $65 per player. Cost includes golf, lunch, range balls, honey pot, KPs and one free practice round on Friday. Carts are $15 per seat.

Port Angeles’ coed soccer league starting
The Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department and Peninsula College Soccer host a coed league set to start April 3.
Games are at the college’s Wally Sigmar Field, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. The league is open to male and female players ages 16 and older (open to youths not playing in on a high school team).
Cost is $55 per player. Those without a team may get on a “free agent” list to be placed on a team.
Sign-up forms are available at PA Parks & Recreation office, 308 E. Fourth St.; deadline to register is March 28.
