On Saturday, April 23, the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture presents “Discoveries with Dinosaurs,” a special family program for children ages 3-5 that’s all about dinosaurs and other prehistoric life.

Drop in anytime between 10 a.m.-noon to channel your inner-paleontologist, solve scientific mysteries, participate in fossil digs and play dino-themed games.

This free event is made possible through a grant from Thrive by Five Washington and was designed with early learning in mind. The North Olympic Library System is one of two organizations partnering with the Burke Museum to introduce this new curriculum.

Additional Burke Museum programming is offered at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., on Saturday, June 11, and Wednesday, Aug. 10.
